These dryer balls are cute and high quality, and the size is good for regular loads. They are gentle on clothes and help avoid synthetic softeners which I like. Packaging arrived well and the wool feels durable. However in my experience I did not notice a very big improvement in drying time or softness compared to my usual routine. They work fine and do what they should, just not a dramatic change. Still a nice natural option if you prefer chemical free laundry products.

These dryer balls are a game-changer! They swiftly dry clothes without any "sheep" odors and remain cost-effective even after years of use. Although a few sheep ears have started to detach from regular use (2-4 times a week, hour-long sessions in a hot drying machine), they have held up admirably. Thanks to these economical and eco-friendly balls, I have bid farewell to wasteful dryer sheets. As someone with sensitive skin, I appreciate that they are chemical-free and don't cause any itching. Note that they can be a bit noisy during the drying process. Personally, I've used 7 Nellie's flyerballs for a 7kg load over a year and adore their durability. Check the attached photos for proof :)

this is my second time purchase and the difference in size from the rock hard old from my overuse to the new is funny. almost double in size. didn't realise early on that they need to be changed. they do help soften clothing and greatly reduce static which is a main one for me
