As the name says, it is creamy so it applies really nicely and covers quite well yet without a trace. I bought it for under eye in #20, however it still seems slightly dark even though I am a little tanned a little and I am not completely fair. It is usable in the summer but winter will definitely call for #10. For blemishes #20 would work fine (luckily I don't have any)
I am new to the Mad Hippie brand and love everything I've tried. I suffer from under eye darkness. This concealer glides on and covers the darkness. You don't need much product, so the price point is good. Good quality for the money. The range of colors is small, but varied enough that if you're between shades, you can combine them to create a customer shade. I combine it with the facial oil for a dewy foundation. Light coverage for a no makeup look. The packaging (as with everything in the line) is adorable and is a reusable little box.
Mad Hippie Concealer delivered exactly what I needed...a natural look that brightened my under eye area and improved my skin tone after using just a short time!! Clean & safe ingredients are super important to me, so this product provided both a brightening effect under my eyes, and ingredients to achieve a natural and healthier looking appearance!!
I recently got married in July and this light, almost weightless concealer was perfect for me (someone who loves watching makeup vids but just hates the feeling makeup on my face). I have also used RMS and Inika concealers, but both were just too rich and thick for me.
I didn't even need to use brushes and blended everything with my fingers. I have tan/warmer asian skin and blended shades 20 and 40 for an absolutely perfect match to my skin tone. I was also pleasantly surprised to learn that the packaging was eco-friendly! The scent is also light and disappears quickly. [the only caveat: watch out for pilling when used with certain primers, moisturizers, or SPF & test beforehand.]
I like to use clean mineral make up on most days and this is great. It is a little thick in texture on its own, so I like to mix it with moisturizer and create my own little tinted moisturizer and don't need to use foundation at all. Coverage is great and colour range although very limited is quite nice and blends in well.
