Rewarded Review

I've got eczema (the kind that makes my fingertips split themselves open for no good reason... think: super-deep papercuts that won't heal). I have a really hard time finding a SLS-free (SLS is one of the biggest triggers for my eczema symptoms) hand soap that actually 1)cleans my hands AND 2)rinses off clean without leaving suds coming out of my pores. bonus -this soap can also be utilized as a body/face wash or shampoo (I've tried out all these - it doesn't suck!). while fragrance hasn't been added (another skin trigger for me), the soap itself has a scent to it (which is actually nice) due to its natural ingredients. I'd describe it as kind of a warm caramelized sugar scent that rinses away with the soap. speaking of which, the soap is actually brown (just like caramelized sugar). note: this soap is very, very different from the Dr. Bronners castille soaps, which is a very good thing, because castille soaps are way too drying for my skin and seem to leave a thick residue (even in soft water). the dr bronner sugar soap is a totally different formula entirely (it's not just a rebranded version of the castille soap, in case you were wondering). I love it and the $9.99 piece tag isn't too horrible, because a little goes a long way, and one bottle lasts me at least a month or two (my husband gets to use up all the other hand soaps I've tried that won't rinse off my skin-I've still got quite a few of those for him to use up, since I tried so many others unsuccessfully before I found this one). I've now got a bottle of this stuff at my kitchen sink, and a bottle at each bathroom sink too. it's fantastic to travel with, too (for obvious reasons-one travel bottle instead of 2-3+)... or great for a gym bag for the same reason. since it's natural, be sure to shake it up first before using it if it's been sitting in your travel bag for a while, obviously.
